In 1999, Rachel began her beauty career as a licensed Manicurist. She went on later to earn a license in Esthetics in 2004. While in school for Esthetics, she discovered she would not be taught about Makeup Artistry in detail, so she took her very first Artistry Certification class in 2003. Rachel believes you never stop learning so she takes classes throughout the year to stay on top of the ever changing trends to keep her Artisty up-to-date and relevant.
With nearly two decades of experience in the Beauty Industry, Rachel's had the opportunity to work with fabulous makeup brands such as CoverGirl, Maybelline, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Mirabella Cosmetics. She's done a host of fashion shows, photoshoots, video shoots, films, and corporate commercials.
Rachel is the founder of GLAM school, a 2-Day Makeup Artistry Certification Class. In 2012, Rachel saw the need for a hands-on Artistry class in the midwest for those aspiring to become Makeup Artists without the need to travel to Chicago, Atlanta, New York, or LA. She's had the opportunity to help many aspiring Makeup Artists jump start their artistry careers and boost their confidence to enter the Beauty Industry.
Today, Rachel Langford is an accomplished and creative Makeup Artist, Esthetician, and Beauty Educator with experience in fashion, editorial, video as well as proper skin care and permanent makeup. She's beautified faces of celebrities, brides, and your every day beauties. She considers the face a blank canvas where her interpretation of beauty and art is expressed through her makeup brushes.
